ILARIA NISTRI was born in Firenze on April 1st 1972. After graduating in Law she began a close collaboration with the family textile company. From 1997 to 2005 Ilaria Nistri was totally involved with the company, however she increased her trips for work and pleasure in America, Europe and the Far East. During her travels she increases her enduring passions: collecting antique porcelain, kimonos, ethnic jewelry, 1920s clothes and fashion accessories, looking for aesthetic harmony in all its form. She began to design her own clothes with a particular eye to proportions and volumes. Her strongest passion becomes a sort of source and archive of all the others; the technical knowledge concerning the fabrics, avant-garde treatments and finishes developed out of years of experience, the passion for the Far East. It's just creating fashion that Ilaria's two souls meet each other; her professional training and career soul with her innermost one regarding experimentation on fabric and shape.

In 2006 her passion finally became her profession and Ilaria launched the first clothes and accessories collection named after her. In Ilaria Nistri collections precious materials and technical experimentation alternate in a well-balanced game, where the proportion's severity doesn't contrast with the texture sensuality.
